April has been a busy month for Nature Blues Stables especially in the racing business. Samantha Mack was proud to welcome back the competition her and Nakita's stable will throw out there in the lines of training. Below are the horses that raced this month and with all their fight will continue to grow.
TUFF E' NUFF has been known for his true nature as a juvenile he is coming along nicely in his training with his workout of 8 Furlongs he seems to just glide down the track with his monstrous form. Striker as he is called is running in the HOTY races this season and truly making himself known as a True Enough colt. He broke his maiden his second race into his racing season that race being the Unicorn Horn Juvenile Dirt has certainly caught some interest in others. After the month of April Tuff E' Nuff earned the amount of $151,000.00 in just this season alone. Striker is a juvenile favorite this season and will make his way into the Triple Crown next season. "Tuff E' Nuff has never given our trainers any problems except for the fact that he is a big flirt, he has bonded so well with his jockey Terri and we look forward to see where he goes in the long run." Samantha stated on his training so far.
ROUGH BOY is now the hands of Nature Blues again with a leasing agreement with Oceanic View Stables. Unlike his twin brother Tuff E' Nuff, Gabe seems to be maturing a little late. Nature Blues intentions are very clear to start him out in the under cards before attending the big races. Finding maiden races may be difficult this season as it is late but they are confident he will find one and win. Rough Boy seems to be more so like his dam, Dashing in the Firelight with his stubborn nature he is hardly standing still. With his temporary return to Nature Blues the colt made an impressive workout for 8 Furlongs. He is surely to come around within the next few months.
GENUINE RISK is another True Enough colt for this crop and has certainly proven himself on the turf surfaces this season. With his dam Atalanta proving his turf gene high he is certainly grasping things quite well. Only placing out of the money once, Genuine Risk has done well with running 9 furlongs or more. "Gene has come around nicely and we are experimenting with the turf surface on this guy and he seems to love it. We may be looking at a potential turf Triple Crown here in the future for Gene. This colt is all hands on and his training is going smoothly and each time he does better than the last." Samantha said in words of advance for the black colt. Genuine Risk took most of April off and will hit the tracks again here shortly in May.
SHADY BISCUIT is a colt we do see having a promising future. He broke his maiden his first time out and although his season has been short Nature Blues looks to change that motion. He does seem to run well with 8 furlongs and his workout he pushed 9 with a good time to his limit. The Mr. Hat and Clogs colt has shown a nice posture and is maturing well for a juvenile. He likes to push for the lead in the first shot then tricks his opponents on the last stretch. Shady Biscuit will get some more track time here soon and will get a confidence boost in the mean time.
PARDON MY FRENCH has some class to share. He is certainly quite the stubborn colt with a difficult attitude but he gets the job done when in comes to training. Rare to his own, the Knight Rousseau colt is in for a major change soon. Mason Connelly is set to leaving him to run with own age group until his confident levels strike up more. He does well with the distance and the team is shuffling his races. Pardon My French ran a workout of 9 furlongs while he threw a fit at the notion he was quite professional about it.
SOPHIE'S HARMONY is a show class for the sprinting division. Starting off with a very slow season we are expected to see her more coming soon. The grey filly by Gamble on Peace is the first of her crop and she is hoping to succeed in the dirt sprint division. With her dam being Sophie Might this filly will strike back in the means end. Her workout of 6 furlongs ran with flying colors when she decided to make an impression of her jockey. As a strong closer, Sophie's Harmony likes to wait to use her built up energy and will use it at the near end of the race.
DON'T COUNT ME OUT while being leased from North Diamond Manor she has been slowly making her way up to the top. The Underdog filly is surely gaining her confidence throughout the spring season. With her win of the Durantt Maiden strikes her place moving forward. She will remain in juvenile based races until the team is confident she may move forward from there.
