Rules of Passion to enter HOTY races

This season has been the toughest for nature blues even in the early months finding races has not been particularly easy. However, Nature Blues has had the charms of 4 year old Rules of Passion on their hands the dark bay daughter of Y14 Encouragement Award winner Passionate Ruler and out of the brutal mare Heart of Stone. The full sibling to Passion Heart is set to take on some interesting Horse of the Year races this season. Only one win away to Grade Three, Rula is training hard to live up to the name her older sister created. Rules of Passion stands incredibly at 17.1 hands the tallest foal of both sire and foal who chooses to run within 6-10 furlongs at best over the dirt surface. She was raced twice within her juvenile career before leaving the tracks to retrain where she returned to her classic year where she won her first race in the Y14 June Maiden Dirt and then winning her first HOTY race the Y14 Seaspray Cup Grade Five Dirt Sprint.

Rula then took on a tough third place showing in the Breeder's Cup Sprint. This season Rules of Passion will gain some more undercard experience before the staff decides to put in some HOTY qualified races. Her massive build has gotten her a long way and while she shares that nasty trait her darling older sister has Rula is one to show a tint of fear with her. Her workouts have been at an amazing pace going for 6 furlongs in just under a minute or so. Mason, Rules of Passion's trainer is eager to get Grade One by this season where next year she will retire where she is set to meet Stride of Perfection's Forbidden to Fly in her first journey into motherhood. Rules of Passion can be seen entered in the Summer Dawn Treader Cup coming May Week three. She will certainly make her mark this season without a doubt.
