I'm extremely hurt by this, I'm sorry but I will not be joining it. I worked very hard to make AEC and I approached everyone first and the consensus was no. I tried and it failed, then not six months later lacee comes along and everyone jumps on the bandwagon how great an idea is and everyone is joining immediately. I had thought perhaps given the past discussion board that lacee and I would make one together but it seems I have been overthrown yet again as she went and just made the site and opened it up. I am not invisible and I do have feelings and this hurts a lot.

Isa, a lot of us just don't like IF and you weren't willing to use proboards. No one's trying to hurt you with anything.

This isn't about pb vs if something could have been worked out but I feel completely disregarded and kicked to the curb.

Isa I think timing had more to do with interest this time. 6 months ago like you said very few people were interested because we had hardcore workouts to get done for here. I only joined possibly as a temp to see how it goes. I don't think you should just poof on us. You've been a very good member and have done very well for yourself.

See if LK and you can find a compromise because you two could make a very successful showing branch off of here. I'm sorry you feel disrespected because you did come up with something along these lines first. I think you just need to take in the timing changes and recognize that several of us have not quite yet fully committed to showing if it hinders us on GHF/TW.

Isa, I had not intention on pushing you away and still would love to have you help me with the site. I mentioned my reasons for choosing proboards in my pm, but I know that's not what you're upset about.

As for the site, I started it when you didn't reply at first about me looking around IF. Nothing is set in stone at SA, I'm literally doing it on the fly and was hoping you'd help me out setting it up and fixing everything I've gotten on there so far.

No ones saying they're choosing my site over yours. when you tried to get AEC started, there just wasn't enough interest and members to get it started is what I'm feeling.

I really am sorry that I upset you this much, I was really looking forward to having you help me out :( and I really hope you stay because we all love you here

I don't think I can add much to what has already been said, I wasn't here when AEC was opened but believe the comments above regarding timing, and how the workout policy has changed, has a lot to do with how things have turned out. I haven't spoken to you much (I guess this is a time zone thing more than anything) but hope that you choose to stay.

I am in the middle of a potential cancer scare right now and I need a biopsy performed. I am not in a situation where I am getting on the sites every couple of hours to check new posts, you said you were very busy right now so I felt that you would be patient as we worked things out. lacee I can't help set up a thing, as you have done it already. You named the site, you picked out the skin, you picked out what boards you wanted, and you organized how it all was set up, and you are making posts and inviting people to start registering. How in the world is that involving me or coming up with ideas and things together? That is you making your own site, not a collaboration of two people's minds and imagination.

Yes the timing is different. But not one person said hey lacee, you know Is tried that a big ago maybe we can ask her or check out what she did, maybe she is still interested. To me it feels like I tried something and it failed, gone and over everybody forgets. Now lacee comes along and suggests the exact same thing and wow, it's like give it a green light and lets give it a try.

Now I realize things can easily be misinterpreted online because it's just typed words, but it really is quite a low blow for you lacee not to have the patience and respect to wait for me to respond. In two years I have never disappeared, you could have waited and truly tried to make it a partnership that could have led to a successful situation. You didn't give that chance. I had suggested and you seemed good with you doing the showing and me doing the registry and events and special auctions. Well you setting all that up doesn't give me the creative freedom to make it my own.

I am an extremely sensitive person and I am not trying to be mean or dramatic, I'm just very hurt and feel squashed and invisible.

And I'm serious when I say nothing is permanent that I set up. We can redo the skin. The board names and layout can change cause I wasnt 100% sure where to put them and what to have. I typed out quick create and registry posts just to get my ideas down but they are by no means the final product. I did all this keeping you in mind and coming up with stuff we needed to talk about and how to fix it.

By all means, if you want to find a new name we both agree upon and create a new site, I'm open to that too. It literally was me trying to get my ideas down before I forgot what they were. I do that a lot lately and everyone nags me because I forget a lot of stuff.

I shouldn't have invited everyone to join before I fully talked to you, I know that now. I was trying to keep everyone interested and get it out quick so they wouldn't lose interest.

I'm also pretty sure everyone isn't trying to be mean by joining six months after your site. We've changed a lot of rules around here that gives everyone a little more free time. And not to mention we gained like 4 members in the past 6 months. It's a combination of everything that is making them want to try it out. I'm not trying to step on your toes or anything. I didn't even know you had tried it before you said anything. when the GHF originally started, I had ran the showing sector for a while and it was very successful. When I came back and saw it was gone, I wanted to start it again but just saw an opportunity with the workout decrease to try it out.

Please understand that none of us are being mean by joining. We are not trying to cut you out at all. And I really am sorry that I jumped the gun on the site. we can start over if that helps, cause I'd really like your input and help on this.

Lets take it down a notch guys. Their has to be a way for you two to work things out perhaps one can see what it needs fixing and vice versa. Back when Isa suggested something like this I wasn't in no position to join another site with life being so busy and having to do workouts to keep up with things. Now their are more people and more time with the new workout guidelines. Should Lacey perhaps have asked first maybe, but maybe you both could create a site like how The Wire and Green Horse Fields are instead of arguing about this one site maybe two could be of plan or not. Please let's us all be friends.
