Hello all of Green Horse Fields and The Wire. As you well know Nature Blues has been quiet among their newsletters for quite sometime now probably because of the new year which has meant busy times for the stable. The staff teams have all welcomed new additions to the stable and yes that includes newborn weanlings to recently bought from an annual sale. Nature Blues is looking at TEN new weanlings for Y15 plus three more to the added but those three are being sold in the annual auction at the Wire as we speak.
Among some other news Nature Blues has added quite an addition to their juvenile roster and that is Firefall.
Firefall is the hard strung son of Catching Fire out of Shooting Star. This colt is the only dual surfaced juvenile they have among their rosters of dirt and turf runners. The dark bay colt has a lot of training to do with his new trainers and jockeys at Nature Blues but that is not their only issue so far. Not only will this colt pull off for the Triple Crown next year he will be battling his aunt along the process.
Admiral's Lady stands about 17.1 Hands and she has that attitude of look but don't touch going with her. She is one of Admirals' Revenge last foals on ground and she hits the tracks the first week of January. Many believe with the new addition of Firefall to the mix he and Mira will battle for the fittest.
While that's going on Nature Blues has officially moved their breeding stock to a new site although it sits right across the street from their racing stables. If you wish to pay them a visit please visit them HERE where most recently GS SuperCharged was placed after retiring from the racing tracks to start his breeding career. Their newborns will also be placed their so they are not far from their mothers.
Also to retired to the broodmare barn is Midnight Sun who will try out for the Dubai World Cup Sprint as her last race of her career before she sets off to the new site where she will then be bred to Tears of Blood.
Among other news, Heart of Stone will earn her one more year mark where in Y16 she will be bred to Dylan Himself upon her last foal until retirement in Y17. Nature Blues has big plans for this foal next year and no they will not keep it to themselves.
More to come in the near future.
