Nature Blue's two stronghold juveniles were set to run in the same race together against other fine juveniles. First onto the practice track this morning was Eavesdropper a colt with unknown lines was expected to take on the Turf Triple Crown in his classic season. Sable Evans was assigned the new colt who was very stubborn to the core. Eavesdropper came to Nature Blues through a reclaim sale from Triple Crown Racing, and he was quite the hardcore colt to bring around others at first. Naturally he got used to his new surroundings and chipped in quite nicely for the Nature Blues team. While Rave had his stablemate DragonHeart to look out for on the track, this colt would be eyeing Refute who had been doing extremely well this season.
Dragonheart was yet another feisty colts Nature Blues had. The grey son to Everyday Hero and Made in Manhattan was desperate for a win. The endeavor colt was not a calm one and when approached by his jockey Meredith he bursted with joy and fire in his eyes and walked to her with an obedient stride. She brushed the gray colt before saddling him and preparing him for his stablemate rival. When Draco came close to Rave the two through neighs and nasty looks at each other but never any aggressive tendencies. Meredith looked to her fellow jockey member with a smile while fixing her helmet. "You should be proud Sable, running in your first Breeder's cup with your very own assigned horse." Meredith said giving him a thumbs up and started Draco in a trot. Dragonheart would be setting stone with Take Flight and Devil's Flair those two would be his go two targets before aiming for the finish.
Eavesdropper was not your typical juvenile at the first race he encountered as a juvenile and he won the Unicorn Horn Juvenile Turf on his first shot out. He made his name known right off the bat. He had been laying low with Triple Crown Racing out of business but when Nakita Rose took an interest in the colt he became a fighter for reason. Dragonheart placed third in the Unicorn Horn Juvenile Turf and he was seeking revenge on Rave for claiming his so called victory. They were off with an amazing start Rave falling back as a closer he took forever to find his gait. Draco kept his pace steady at the front dipping his hooves into the grass even further to get a better grip and to move faster.
Rave held his pace at the back of the pack waiting for Draco to take off with a glimpse of confidence but Rave had another plan in mind. He was an intelligent horse and would not go without thinking his motives first. He let Draco go with his win from Green Horse Fields DragonHeart was now a Grade four and Rave would not let him live that down. He picked up his strides and pushed forward at the command of his jockey Rave bursted through the air passing Draco by a nose to win the breezing. Eavesdropper would not be an easy colt to beat and neither would Draco. Race day was on its way and these two juveniles were in a mood.
