The Rules
- There is an age limit. Horses that are ages 2-6 years can enter into the Derby Races.
- Horses must meet the requirements posted for each race.
- No negative attitudes. This is a race series meant to provide a means of fun and race experience for your horses.
- Every race will be run on a dirt track. This race series is for dirt runners.
The History
The Risorgimento Cup is a five race series that was created by Intrepid Racing Inc. and Akita Rose Stables. The goal was to provide GHF players with more opportunities to allow their horses to gain more experience and to simply have fun. This Italian Renaissance inspired Series is run on all dirt tracks and will test the stamina and commitment of all the horses that compete. The final race the Risorgimento Derby will be a culmination and the climax of the series. The top three horses from each of the previous four races will compete in this final race. This will prove to be an exciting race series and will be run annually every GHF year. We are looking forward to seeing each person participate and may the best horses win.

Tips to Success
When posting your workouts for your horses be sure to post them on the stable's practice track and not another off-site forum. This helps simulate racing as it would be in the real world. Off-site work-outs will be accepted, but practices posted on the site the race is hosted will carry more weight.

Valorizzare Derby - 10F D - G4 + G3 - September Week 2
Consumato Derby - 11F D - G3+ G2 - September Week 3
Provetto Derby - 11F D - G2 + G1 - September Week 4
Risorgimento Derby - 10F D - Top 3 From Each Previous Race - October Week 1
