1st in Slake Stakes
1st in Megalomania Stakes

August was a break out month for Witch Creek's leading turf miss. Her new jockey combo with Reese Balling Jones has provided for amazing wins in her last two starts. She's shown courage in the face of battle by overcoming a rough race to dead heat with Abastor in the Slake Stakes. And then rolled to a win in the Megalomania Stakes over solid two year olds Ruler's Secret and Night Goddess.

Something has finally clicked and she is now one win away from being a grade four.

I know it's only for wins for the record though he finally broke his maiden and as a three year old who hardly raced this is a victory for Bowen Acres. But, thought I would enter him.

Fire has been fighting to break out of Grade 3 and it finally happened August Week 3 against now fellow G2 stable mate and War Admiral son, The Underdog. We couldn't have been more pleased! Every other race this month he has finished in the top two and we're hopeful that now things will be on the up and up for this half-brother to Grade One Stallion, FS Mockingbird.
