SECRET'S SURPRISE

It was a nice sunny day out but, there was still a slight breeze brewing in the air. Nina Delgracy had interest in the new yearling that was now old enough to race. Carlos attended since he was the assigned jockey of the yearling filly. Little Red was going to be in the Prospects and they wanted to see where she would go. Today they would be placing a saddle on the fillies back to get her used the start of her future.
"Easy there girl." Nina said placing the bridle on her feeding her oats with the other hand Carlos helping out as well. Placing the saddle on her was a little difficult as Secret kept moving but, seemed to calm down after a few more tries. "She's gonna be fierce next year everyone needs to watch out for this filly." Carlos said with a smile looking at Nina while attending to the saddle. The prospects were the only plan for this filly at the moment. She could not race until next year and when she fully trained.
Nina grabbed a long rope and clipped the end of hoop on the bottom of the bridle and made a clicking sound with her tongue having the filly trot around in a circle around them to see how her stamina would be like. She was a fabulous filly and would show potential next year. Carlos would most definitely have fun riding her since he was short that way.
"I have faith in her just like I do with our other horses. She just needs a little bit more training." Carlos said then gently grabbed the rope from Nina pulling the filly to a stop and took off the saddle walking her back to the truck so that they could take her back to the stables to rest and get her energy for next time they were going to train her. She was a Thoroughbred and a racehorse and that was what she was training for. Only time would tell.
