Apollo's Sunset in January 2015
It has just come to our attention that Firestone Racing has announced that Maiden producer Apollo's Sunset will retire from his stud duties next month. The 17hh stallion turned 15 this year, and with little to no interest in the breeding shed, both Jenna Stafford and Johnny Garner have made the decision with Carter's approval.
"All he's doing is sitting in a field, getting fat with no action." Jenna commented earlier. "Maybe he will turn into a riding horse, we will see where it leads. But for now, if you want to get some of his lines, better do so now before he's gone for good!" He has one foal on the ground as of Year Fourteen, a colt out of Maiden mare, Golden Roses. Storm Warning will be hitting the tracks in Year Sixteen.
