Looking for Opinions on 3yo races and more!

I like Kenny's idea about rewards for articles, like Ripley's idea about adding a mod, generating a horse for maiden races is definitely something I'm open to rather than all races in general, I would make it 3 HOTY race wins and increase to 4 in September.

We can get a mod for posting races at BSD if you guys want, but I'll honestly be able to do it. I was just being lazy since Ripley was on top of things, so shame on me. I've been adding more races to the calendar as I go so I think that's probably fine too? I'm not planning on doing major race additions until next year because adding them at this time of year rarely results in full races because people have schedules.

I know i know but that's just what it came off as, Sometimes i take things the wrong way when its not meant to be.

I don't mind being the one to close things/cut things off if I was allowed some sort of mod position at any of the tracks. I know i did it once when everyone else couldn't xD i'm bad and come here very often even during school and with my schedule being somewhat light this semester it shouldn't be a problem.

THOUGHT maybe we can do M + G5, non-HOTY-winner races instead of doing randomly created horses or whatever that was? Because let's be honest, I feel like the user horses would automatically win :P If the maidens have been raced for a few months, they should be on par with the G5s for that type of race. If they are more newly created, well, those have always had a bit of a struggle - look at Handsome Tabby and Allouette Divine in their first years. But it didn't slow them down, it just happens? I think just making M + G5 races instead of strictly maidens would solve the problem readily enough.

to be completely honest... I owned up when I was being a terror about results. I have always openly owned up and apologized. I've asked for feedback recently in frustrations with horses never people and the fact that I've been demonized on my own site really infuriates me.

I was NOT attacking anyone. I'm stating facts and trends. I ask for feedback because LIKE I said, I'm trying to figure things out. I know there are growing pains. I'm WELL aware. My intention is NEVER to make anyone uncomfortable. That being said, here's a news flash. This isn't RL horse racing. I'd be a frckn millionare and I could quit working, which would be awesome. We pride ourselves on being semi-realistic, but we will never be truly realistic. We race our horses to damn much for that lol. WHAT I was saying is that there has to be some credit given to horses that are doing well. I NEVER said they should win all the time and i'm sorry if I gave that impression.

Obviously, my presence isn't something that is wanted or needed here and I will gladly leave it all to the others because quite frankly I'm tired of feeling attacked when I ask for feedback or treated like I'm the wicked witch of the west on my own site. I realize that you are all people with feelings, emotions and I guess, I thought the same should be extended to me. I'm just tired of it all.

So again sorry to those I've offended or pressured or feel like I've bullied because that was never my intention. I was simply trying to understand. Maybe things will be better for you all with my abscence. I will post on that later. Wish you all the best. I love the changes you guys are discussing. I think it will be good.

Cavvie, I don't believe anybody here sees you as the wicked witch of the game. What's happening I believe is that you seem to have the best horses in general in the game this season win wise, and when you ask for feedback or say you believe one of your horse's is struggling, its harder for some of us to see if when we're struggling for a second win and your horse has 5. We aren't trying to pick on you, what I see happening this season is that everyone seems to decide what horse *should* win or what horse is the *favorite* to win, and are shocked when they don't. I think that members need to relax a little more about who *should* win, as then we're into the whole fairness situation. Let the judge judge the race, and if something seems very terribly off without a reason then bring up a question. This isn't just for you everyone needs to do this, I think. Again if 6 stellar horses go head to head, everyone wants theirs to win or expects a good result, and getting sixth is like omg I thought I had that, and therein lies the difficulty, "I thought he/she had that race".

I think sometimes people are upset when you are asking about a horse because they feel your horses are doing so well and theirs are not, they don't understand why you are unhappy. We don't want you or Ripley to take a break, I think that the frustration is that expectations are too high on horses. Look at Moonlight, she's doing fairly poorly this year after last year, but I'm just sitting with it. In the end they are pretend horses, we're here to have fun. I had a great 3 year old year with her, if that's it for her, I guess that's it. I can be sad or disappointed, but seeing that more than one person are judging her races I know it's not a bias towards her, her competition is beating her for whatever reason in each race.
