WELL a lot can change between now and the sale, but the catalog went up and I lost my mind at how many of my babies from last year are going to be in it <3 So if you were a fan of story time for Saratoga, strap in. I also have pictures of some of them, so there will be those as well. This will probably be an ongoing updating process because there are so many horses in the sale xDD These are NOT ones we're selling, though I'll add that list to the end probably.
Day One (Book One):
051: Starbourne '15 (on the left). As with many of these pedigrees from when I was at Ashford, this pedigree is very international. The dam is a stakes winner and was third in a grade one. She's got a lot of black type in that pedigree.
088: Tashawak '15. I actually don't have any pictures of Tash??? Which is upsetting because she was one of my favorites. The mare is a grade two winner and from a good international family.
091: Tempo West '15. Can you say blue-blooded? Watch for this one to soar over a million if he looks good. Full brother to Declaration of War. Mare has produced 6 winners from 6 to race, and three of them are stakes winners. She died tragically after foaling, so this one is her legacy. The second dam produced Union Rags. There isn't a whole lot wrong with this colt on paper.
136: Well Monied '15. Mare is a grade two winner and second and third in grade ones. The filly herself was very sweet, and just pleasant to be around. The 2yo is off to a good start, and the guys always liked the look of this filly.
155: A Footstep Away '15. Very nice Uncle Mo filly from the family of Halfbridled and Mshawish among many others.
169: Always A Star '15. Not the most pedigree power, but he was always a nice-looking colt.
194: Babe Hall '15. Dam has already produced a grade one winner. This colt was a sweetheart, and the staff all loved him. He had a hard start to life as the mare died right at an awkward time when he was a bit too young to wean and a bit too old to get a nursemare - however, he seemed to do okay and we all loved how nice he was. He was in my January sales barn just chilling too because he needed friends and attention xP
Stay tuned for the next 13 days!!
