Ghostly Girl's style allowed Beyond The Lies to stay much more in the game than the bettors expected. Beyond The Lies was forced to take the lead, although, it was very slow. Down the stretch it was a dual of sprinter speed. Beyond The Lies nosed out Ghostly Girl on the line.

Fourth. Superb Curiosity

A lack of pace made for a strong win for Starfire. Escape Artist used his tactical speed to outrun the other two. Ground Zero strikes me a horse that needs more pace and longer distance, but I'm excited to see him in this race. Superb Curiosity needs more pace and I think she might be effective 5-8 furlongs until she gains more racing experience/maturity.

Muggathugga had the obvious advantage over these two year olds, he was a year older and had 2 races already under his belt. With the faster pace today it set both Mugs and Pele's Wrath up to end up where they did. Pardon My French and Call Of Duty simply got tired after being at each others throats for the lead, Pardon My French may have placed higher had his workout been completed.
