OMG okay, so thanks to Kenny tellin' me to chill and just wait (NOT in izzy's vocab BTW) and frosty's all making izzy editor to stable sit for her . . . IZZY HAD AN IDEA!!
Well yeah, it MIGHT be one of those usual ideas I have that just don't work . . but read it anyway. You never know . . .
So I thought wouldn't it be SO MUCH FUN if I did like a monthly interview of a member and/or their stable? I'd come up with a bunch of questions and do some digging and stuff, then everybody could sign up to have a member and/or stable interview, and I'd make questions regarding specific people and horses and stuff. And then I'd send it out and the member could write up their responses as detailed as they wanted (and in character for stable ones if they wanted) and then I'd get it all pretty with some pictures maybe and post it up?
Before you go OMG I DON'T have time . .. you could maybe sign up for a specific month, or ask to wait until a few months are done before picking you, and I'd always ask the person first if it was a good time. And anyway, you'd have like a whole month to write the responses so you'd have plenty of time. I could see these being fabulous for new members to read over to learn about our long standing members and stables. And if it goes well I could repeat them after we get through all the members once if we liked it for shorter interviews about new updates and things like that. I wouldn't ask anything TOO personal, and everyone would always be free to say no comment or not answer a question if they didn't want to.
So this would give me something to do with all the time I have (I literally have started spring Y16 workouts, no kidding) and it would be SO MUCH FUN TO READ!!! Sooo . . . great idea? Horrible idea???? You can vote and post comments if you want! We could learn a lot more about each other and also learn more in depth on where stables are going and what they specialize in and who their prominent bloodlines are, especially for those newer members.
