These are all really great horses! We all know first races are somewhat arbitrary, so no worries if you didn't get it this time around! Fire Goddess and Lady Timeah really stood out to me, and I just saw Fire Goddess edging Lady Timeah out by a nose at the wire. Vindicated is a strong, fun filly, and I can see her doing well this year. Don't be put out by Firma's placing, Sammy - she'll rebound! She just didn't quite stand out to me as much as the others this time. Also make sure you get her page finished ;D (didn't have anything to do with the placings, just a note.)

Without a work, Crooked Intentions just wasn't as prepared as the others. Dudley's Girl needs her page finished. Like A Lady came up a bit short, but she seems like the type to learn and gain from the experience. Coveted Faith had her way from start to finish. This is a great bunch of fillies!

Very, very tough prospect group to judge, especially with the three True Enough foals. All of them have extremely dirt relevant capabilities. The Oddity, is a strong filly, Alexia, but I still see a ton of Firebird and FS Mockingbird through Oddside. The dam line, proven through Prize Me Proud, is not as strong to me. I essentially think you will be proving The Oddity's sire and dam as a current dirt pedigree this season. I'm excited though to see her in action.

Bona Fide- Basically the same thing as The Oddity. She's a gorgeous filly, but you will essentially be proving the female side of this line. Terrific personality and I am excited to see you racing one of your boy's babies.

Arctic Fox - Awesome personality. His family lines need a little updating as both Silver Secret and Supernatural are now grade one runners. The family here was not as strong as the families above him, but I look forward to seeing him run! With just a little bit of updating, he'll likely place higher next out.

Rough Boy and Tuff E' Nuff - These two will essentially be butting heads from the yearling stage to their retirement. I had to decide based on personality and I liked how fleshed out Tuff E' Nuff's persona was and how realistic. However, going forward, I think both of them are even with each other and when they begin their racing careers they're success will depend on their workouts and training.

Proletariat - His lines were extremely relevant with the likes of Call Me Crooked, Ashes to Ashes, Sweet Inferno in the background. Not to mention being a half to Native Flame and through Native Flame a relation to Sun King. I think this colt has a bright future.

Winning Fire - Love the family combination of Admiral's Revenge and Touch Up. A great deal of depth here in my opinion for a terrific 8-9 furlong filly. She strikes me as very much capable of taking on the well-bred distance runners too. Big fan of her.

Roses Rampant - The family is terrific. I love her personality. She seems versatile to me going from 9-12 and being good at all distances. She was a clear stand out and will likely continue to be the big stand out going forward. However, her lead could stay tentative if more well bred families pop up in the form of other yearlings.

Patriot: Similar pedigree to Ephermeral, with slightly more depth on his dam's side. Lovely personality, and I definitely can see him going from 9-12 without any problem because his family is so versatile in that area.

Laddie Luck: Terrific colt, beyond awesome personality. The personality carried him to second place here despite his dam's newness to breeding. Call Of The Wild definitely hints to turf success here and I think he could prove to be very much like that particular horse.

Ephermeral: She, like most of the other Everyday Hero babies, can swing both to dirt and turf. Wish Upon A Star's and Wishing For A Heroine's success over the turf, not to mention Taboo could definitely lean her to the turf. However, she also has Vindictive Fury, Tears No More, and Dry Your Tears in there, suggesting dirt. If you are intent on keeping her to turf, keep her here. She could do a lot. Her personality reminds me much of Taboo and I think she will be a great filly down the line, particularly in the distance set she has.

Enchanting Soldier: She has a way deep pedigree, but both of her parents are relatively new to the breeding shed. She could move up as she gains more of a reputation in the prospects though. Her personality is wonderful and I genuinely think she could be a threat over the turf.

Incineration: Adore this filly, as I bred her. But Glorious Storm has to rely on the the stud she is matched with to set the distance. So far DW Flamekissed offspring appear to like the added distances and this could prove the key for Incineration. Also, her family needs a little updating. Towering Tempest is now renamed to Notorious and, new news which I don't expect you to have updated so quickly is Ground Zero is a G5 now, having broken his maiden.

Stylishly Wild: He is a terrific colt. Love his attitude and his running style could prove lethal for the distance races. He placed low because of the lack of depth in his family line. He will help prove the Made in Manhattan line. He could improve in the prospect races, as everyone else, the more successful his currently racing siblings become. Manhattan Royalty and Dragonheart are already making some noise, so don't give up on the prospects just yet.

Wild Tide: Although she is a dual, I definitely see her leaning more toward dirt pedigree wise. She'll have to prove that her family lines can run the table on the turf as well. Her sire is a sire of a dirt Triple Crown winner and her dam is essentially the maternal head of a dynasty dirt line through her son Akuma Battlecry. I hated placing the filly here, but at least for prospects the rest of the year, I suggest sending her to dirt prospects where she will shine until you can train her for the turf races as a two year old.

Knickerbocker Stakes - 9F - 2yo - Colt - M+
Win: Notorious (Head)
Place: First Class

Notorious: Ripley I see him as your major turf competitor his lines definitely have the proven turf record. Notorious did win by a head and I see him going places with you.

First Class: Cc wonderful lined colt you have here however he was beaten by the final turn but he will do some damage for you real soon I mean hello brother to Innocent Passion this guy will live up to the name. I enjoyed his personality and workout.

Wyvern: Kenny, Wyvern is an amazing colt but you have to work hard on him to stick with the turf as his dam simply is a dirt favorite. Keep him on the turf angle and I see him doing incredible things with the turf runners. He will definitely prove his sire's turf division well.
