This was an intriguing race for me and I saw a potential looming upset. While Italian Ice was kept busy by Ivory Storm, Ivory Storm's stablemate was settled in a great position in third. She was cruising along without any pressure and had no issues dispatching Indian Darling. Indian Darling was tired after her big effort in the tough Winter Dawn Treader Cup and had not been especially prepared for a big run against the leading mare Italian Ice. Italian Ice was game, but Maliah got the best of her in the final furlong.

I did not get a big feel for Ivory Storms in his workout, though I do believe he was a threat to win this. He had not lost at the 11 furlong distance this year. He has been overshadowed by his stablemates, but should get his chance to shine if Maliah sticks to the distaff division. You have a very potent pair, Isa. Keep up the excellent work.

Infinite Warcry finally managed to notch a win to the delight of his fans. He rolled to a win with a powerful sweep and reasserted himself as one of the top older turf males. He wasn't to be denied and he left Wish Upon A Star and Ode To Glory in his wake. Ode To Glory is rounding into form with his second start off the layoff and will pose a large threat to the older turf division next season. Wish Upon A Star and Fleet Majesty didn't stand out as much today, as I pictured the stallions being a little harder to handle. Wish strikes me as more distance capable and snagged the third away from Mage. Mage has been really tough this season and will pop one of these times to get her grade one victory, until that point I see her slightly below the likes of the top turf distance contenders. For all that, she has been absolutely consistent and I think she has a shot for the Breeders' Cup if she gets a confidence building race in between.

[Congrats Frosty for having a hand in all four of these horses at some point in their career. A great achievement if I do so say myself.]

Nothing to change with Lilith. It was a strong group of fillies, and the other two stood out a little more to me this time around.

Anodyne ran a very game race, but Sweet Inferno just got him over her preferred distance of twelve furlongs. He's a great horse, heck he won the Canadian Triple Crown, I just saw Sweet Inferno getting the better of him today.

Okay I was just seeing those two getting a win this week, especially Lilith since she was fresher than nirvana but still more in tune than Siren in race frequency. Not complaining just looking for feedback there. I was surprised is all expecting wins for both (Sorry on my cell)

All of these horses ran their hearts out today! However, Casualty really stood out today. Baciami ran a great race but couldn't quite keep up with these horses today. He's a great horse with a great pedigree that can take him very far in the future, he just fell short today.
