The two bay fillies had this by four lengths over the boys and put on a brilliant speed show down the stretch. Acantha got the head bob, but Prima Donna will be extremely keen on winning next time out to this rival.

Lookin' Back Lucky and Grey's Wisdom were unprepared for the fillies who strike me as very dangerous at this distance. Racing form got Lucky the third over Grey's Wisdom, who after nearly half a year of off time will need a couple races to get back to his original level.

The win was a lot closer than everyone betting expected. Restricted Access really gave a good scare to Italian Ice, but the determination and class of the older mare kept the younger filly at bay. While Italian Ice is the favorite, a very live longshot could be Restricted Access who appears to be getting better the further the season goes.

I hate all of you for making me judge this field. Honestly CC, you shouldn't be disappointed here with Lucy's placing in this race. She lagged only by a neck behind Innocent Passion. This was an insane caliber field. I honestly just couldn't see Cross taking this race with this much front pressure, but she's stubborn enough to hold off her rival Innocent Passion. Demonic was stalking on the outside and he had the perfect hole on the outside to whisker his win away from the determined Cross. This was a fast paced race and was a solid performance to say the least of these top sprinters/milers. Wish I could place them all in the money.
