Floods [update!]

So the stables has flooded... again :-(

Here are just a few pics of what happened last time... [25th November]

(it got worse after this)





^ You can see the water here. It got higher and flooded this completely



That's me carrying Vicki through the water. She didn't have her wellies!

You can see the top step of the toilet on this. By the end of it, this was IN the toilet. :(

The arena started going under:



This was like a mini stream through the stables round back:

The stables round the front are under again:


Instead of just a little bit of the river overflowing, it spread throughout the yard:


You can see it coming from UNDERNEATH the hay [on the left] which is how far across the yard it is... it is not usually like that:


This is the side of the track and the little crew yard. You can see the front field overflowing with the horses on the mound climbing to safety. They were moved after this:


This is the side of the big crew yard. It is the opposite side to the little crew yard which is on higher ground:

Toppling over here... it did go into the car park:

It went down yesterday and this morning, luckily, but it's still very high. Any more rain and it will come back up and be like this again. :(
