So I've got a Surface Supreme to play with. Question is, who should it go to? I don't like to give Surface Supremes to horses that have solid turf or dirt backgrounds. I'd prefer to give it to open-ended backgrounds. Hence, here is an explanation for my choices.
Mercurial Magic - From a blank background, Merc is definitely open to the SS. It would give him more opportunities on the racetrack which he could definitely use.
Forbidden To Fly - He has it in his blood to do good things over the turf. The question is, does he really need this?
Fly By Darkness - I've got a yearling string burdened by turf. This filly has got some dirt blood in her and it would make sense for her to suddenly like the dirt. But then she could conflict with Battle Wings...
