Before and after, have we done the right thing?

Hi everyone ;)

So I know quite a few of you have some experience with horses, now I'm in desperate need of opinion... I'm going to show you our grey (will be in a couple of years time) highland, called Fred, known as Freddy to most. He is now rising five, and we've had him since he was a two year old. I'm going to show you some pictures. With his transformation from a two-year-old to a four-year-old, have we done the right thing over the past two years?
