GAMBLE ON PEACE

[/size]Gambler was originally from Dreamvalley stables before sold to Bowen Acres Stables not to long ago. The colt was 3 years old and was already Grade 5. He was a beautiful chestnut colt with a stripe that had great potential too bad he was a biter and a bit cranky off the track. Carlos rubbed his muzzle gently before walking to his side and hopping onto the Thoroughbreds back. Guiding him towards the gate was an easy go. The bell rang and the colt knew exactly what to do..dash like his life depended on it.
This colt did not run very far so he would sprint the life out of him of 5-8 furlongs. He was great on dirt okay on turf which made things a slight bit difficult given most of the horses on Bowen Acres Stables ran on turf tracks. The colt was already near the last of the long stretch breezing past anyone in his path. He was an outstanding colt with a little attitude issues. He was quick on his hooves and left dust clouds behind him. Carlos gripped the reins to go drift slightly towards the left and Gambler was on the last stretch before gaining more speed as if the colt didn't have enough.
Passing the finish line was always a must for everyone as well as winning. The colt didn't seem to be tired but, the run was over and there would be another workout another day. The colt was Grade 5 and so Mason was on sight making sure nothing went wrong with the chestnut colt. "That a boy...He runs great out there I think putting him in this month's race won't be such a bad idea." Carlos said still on the back on the colt. Mason just nodded as usual. The colt moved his head side to side as if he was hungry. Carlos then took the colt back to the stables where he would rest and wait for the next race to begin.
