It is with heavy heart that the end of the year is on the horizon which means that some of Nature Blues finest racehorses will be retiring to the stud and mare barn and some may be returning or finally retiring from everything.
A Royal Legacy will be retiring at the end of this season to start his new career as a freshman stud. The Merry Bay King son has had a tough year but he will definitely be a fine freshman stallion to produce future champions. He is booked to Witch Creek stables mare Whipped Cream upon his retirement, the staff team is excited to see how that foal will progress. The staff has high hopes that the next few weeks will become his greater days and finish off on a good note.
Rules of Passion has become quite the fighter in her sprinter career and the staff team feels she may pull of retirement in the early spring of Y16. The Passionate Ruler mare is certainly a follow up of her older sister Passion Heart but she rocks the sprint dirt division quite well. Rules of Passion will join her mother in the broodmare barn some time in the spring where she will be booked to Stride of Perfections Forbidden to Fly. She is looking on taking on the Breeders Cup Sprint again this year as she came in a surprising third last year. The Passionate Ruler and Heart of Stone legacy is not quite done with the tracks just yet.
Livin' The Jazz will retire from the tracks at the end of the year. Jax may have moved around quite a bit that halted some of his racing career but arriving at Nature Blues has been wonders. The stallion will finish off the season where he will join his brother Jazzaway in the attempt in the stud barn. Livin' The Jazz will be booked to Nature Blues favorite, Passion Heart come Y16.
Red Admiral will be retiring to the broodmare barn at the start of Y16 where she will have a hot date with Valkyrie Stables Van Guard. Red Admiral has been an inspiration to the stables even as an undercard winner. Red Admiral will finish off her career with honors and in hopes to see how she does in the Breeders Cup.
