Maximus Maiden Workout // February workout
My Remedy as he was called was a gentle natured colt who was shy at meeting others at first. Meredith Hently managed to get his trust and when she approached his stall this morning he came right to her with open arms. "How's my sweet boy this morning?" She said rubbing his nose gently placing the lead rope on his halter and walked him out to get his workout done for the upcoming race. The colt stood tall at 17.1h and Meredith sometimes used a step stool to even get on the colt. The colt was entered in the Maximus Maiden this week and as a colt chosen to run on the Wire tracks he would push to greatness.
The horses also taking the gates of this race was Barely a Sound, a filly by Barely a Moment who was most definitely going to show hope on the track. Next was Rigoletta's Song another filly running for Durango Racing Stables. Gate Four was holding a Seattle Song daughter Whispering Melody running for Akita Rose Stables. The last gate was a nasty filly running for Witch Creek, a filly named Lethal Dose. Meta as Remedy was nicknamed was a horse from unknown lines but the will this horse had was inspiring and while he was still a newcomer for Nature Blues and he was a wonderful horse indeed.
Taking their place on the track My Remedy was pranced his way to a starting trot with the commands of Meredith and then with a gentle kick, Meta was soon coming into a gallop as he was a dual surfaced colt he favored both tracks and would soon take on both competitions. The colt took distances very well and would claim this track as his own and with his height as it was he had the stamina to pull through. The colt then picked up speed coming along the back stretch and he bolted away like a train. Ears perked back he then sprinted away from his current stride and headed towards the final turn with no doubt.
Meredith Hently would ride him to victory like she had with Reflected in Water. She clicked her tongue and Meta took his final stride along the home stretch and the colt whinnied with remorse as he felt good passing the finish line. The colt would fight to make it to first place he was up against great horses and he too would make it to the title. They would fight together to make sure they would win with everything they had.
